ELECTROFORMING

The ultimate in precision and tolerance, electroforming process offers sizes as small as .0005906 (15µm). Exclusively utilizing pure nickel, the process combines photolithography and electroplating to build products that are tab and burr free.

  • Propietary substrate preparation process results in mirror-like finish both front and back.
  • No visible grain direction.
  • Products are tab-free.
  • Clean-room photolithographic area.
  • Exclusively collimated light exposure systems.
  • Tooling complete in hours.
  • Most products can be shipped within 5 to 7 business day.

Thickness:

From 0.0004″ to 0.0006″
(10µm – 150µm)

Tolerances:

As low as +/- 0.00019″ (5µm) although
tolerances vary by application.

LASER CUTTING

State-of-the-art laser equipment to achieve an outstanding combination of edge quality, tolerances, and feature sizes in a wide variety of metals. Specially designed for use with very thin metal, our lasers are able to creat openings as small as .00043″ (11µm).

Advantages:

  • Rapid prototyping.
  • Laser Beam diameter 0.00087″ (22µm).
  • Excellent performance on metals which are not ideally suited for etching, such as titanium and tungsten.
  • In-house engineering.
  • Tab-free designs available.
  • May be combined with electroforming and chemical etching to produce highly-complicate designs.
  • Secondary forming available.

We offer high quality thin metal parts that perfectly fit your needs because they can be created as thin as 0.0003 (which is thinner than aluminum foil) and as thick as 0.060 with through hole characteristics as small as 0.0005.
